Traffic collision leaves one dead, one injured in South LA – 2UrbanGirls

LOS ANGELES – A person has died in a traffic collision early Saturday morning, according to authorities.

Emergency personnel were dispatched to the 1900 block of Florence ave after receiving a call of a two-vehicle collision around 1:00 a.m.

Upon arrival, LAFD confirmed two patients were trapped in the collision and one was possibly fatally wounded. 

After reaching both victims, one was pronounced deceased on the scene. 

The surviving victim was transported in an unknown condition. 

The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
