TROY POLICE JULY 6 SEX OFFENDER. 1:02 a.m. Daniel Chapman, 41, 356 Fourth St., was charged with failure to register as a sex offender, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, reckless driving, failing to stop at an intersection, failing to keep to the right, driving the wrong way on a one-way street, speeding, and failing to obey a police officer after a traffic accident and a brief pursuit ending on Fourth Street. Officers: D. Dean, R. Southworth. DWI. 1:59 a.m. Sean Austin, 23, 2338 15th St., was also charged with speeding after a traffic stop at 15th Street and Peoples Avenue. Officers: R. Southworth, D. Dean. DRUGS. 2:05 a.m. Sherise Welch, 19, 37-1 Eighth St., was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on an indictment. Officers: N. TenEyck, E. UNAUTHORIZED DRIVER. 3:16 a.m. Miguel Rodriguez, 23, 902 Corliss Park Apartments, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle after a traffic stop on Second Avenue.
