Cyclist shot near Expo/Sepulveda Metro station – 2UrbanGirls

LOS ANGELES – A cyclist was shot early this morning while riding on a bike path near the Expo/Sepulveda Metro station, according to authorities.

A male cyclist was shot on the bike path on Exposition just west of Sepulveda this morning at approximately 12:18 AM.

Officers from LAPD’s West LA division responded and located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

A possible suspect was observed by responding fire personnel. LAPD detained another male cyclist who matched the description that was provided.

The male victim was transported to the hospital in an unknown condition.

Officers found narcotics at the scene of the shooting.
