361 children killed and more than 700 injured as a result of Russia’s war in Ukraine

(CNN) — At least 361 children have been killed and more than 700 injured in Ukraine as a result of Russian attacks on Ukraine since the invasion began, the country’s Prosecutor General’s Office said on Saturday.

However, the numbers could rise as the office is still trying to get the latest reports from “places with active hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.”

The bureau listed the regions where the most children were killed or injured as: Donetsk: 371, Kharkiv: 197 and Kyiv: 116.

He also said that as a result of the Russian attacks, some 2,211 educational institutions in the country were damaged. Of these, 230 were completely destroyed.
